Job Overview/Summary:
As a Splunk/Cribl Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Cribl pipelines, integrating Cribl with Splunk, and optimizing performance. You will be troubleshooting issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration with various data sources and destinations. This role requires a deep understanding of Cribl’s data processing capabilities and experience with Splunk architecture and administration.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Cribl pipelines for data processing and enrichment
Integrate Cribl with various data sources and destinations, including Splunk
Optimize Cribl performance and troubleshoot any arising issues
Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality
Stay updated on Cribl and Splunk technologies to ensure best practices are followed
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Primary Skills:

Deep understanding of Cribl’s data processing and enrichment capabilities
Familiarity with Splunk architecture, search processing language (SPL), and administration
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell
Experience with automation tools for infrastructure management

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Experience with other log management tools

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Cribl and Splunk integration and management
Proficiency in scripting and automation for data and infrastructure tasks
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
