Job Summary:
A Server at Mellow Mushroom is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to all guests. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and handling a variety of duties. You should be able to communicate effectively with guests to ensure that they are provided with the best possible service.

New location in Dawsonville, Georgia. Training week begins July 13th and open date set for July 22nd.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet guests as they arrive as needed
– Take orders from guests, along with recommendations and enter them into the POS system
– Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
– Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns they may have
– Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
– Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
– Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
– High level of urgency
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a server in a restaurant preferred
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
– Strong customer service skills
– Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
– Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
– A clean, professional image at all times
