Philco Air Control, Inc is a leading Bay Area Commercial HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Contractor that is looking for journey level electricians to join our team. Our company, along with our sister company Philco Building Maintenance, handle all aspects of commercial building maintenance and repairs.
We are also looking for an individual to help grow our electrical division and take on more lighting upgrade projects. Some of these projects may include common area and parking lot LED Lighting upgrades, new panels and switch gear replacements as needed for our many Tenant improvement projects, Dedicated circuit installations for our HVAC projects, and general electrical service and repair calls on a day-to-day basis.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
5+ years commercial experience
California State General Electrician Certification or California State License
The ability to work efficiently while ensuring quality troubleshooting, repair & installation
Good written and verbal communication skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Clean DMV record
This is a physical job; physical work represents more than 70% of the job.
Experience in developing estimates for new projects or retrofits.
Must be able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime, and night shifts as required.
Have experience with panel replacement, switch gears, and LED Parking Lot Upgrade Projects
Have experience with lighting control panels, troubleshooting and upgrades as needed
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including standing, bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, kneeling, sitting, reaching, in addition to the repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
Must be able to routinely lift, push, and pull heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
Leadership skills
Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire
Conduit pipe bending skills
Ability to complete main panel upgrades and switch gear replacements.
Be resourceful in finding solutions to problems as they come up.
Optimize time and material usage by choosing appropriate tools and methods
Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed.
