This includes being able to clearly answer questions you might have about how Blucruit works. Below are some of the most commonly asked questions. How is Blucruit different from other job boards?
Blucruit is different from other online job boards in many ways.
First, you won’t find job scams, too-good-to-be-true business opportunities or ads on the Blucruit website. And every job we post is first vetted by a real person who spends as much as 30 minutes per job making sure it meets our rigorous criteria before we serve it up to you.
Second, our entire focus is not only focused on connecting the right jobseeker with the right job. We also offer expert career coaching and resume writing services from one of our professional and certified employees. This will ensure that you stand out in today’s crowded job market.
Third, we don’t believe in just B2C or B2B. Everything we do is P2P – people to people. Supreme customer service is our goal, and our teams are here each day to ensure customers get the most return on their investment. We talk to you like a person and work with you like a partner.
How and when was Blucruit started?
Blucruit was started in late 2021 by two passionate and experienced entrepreneurs. Our mission has been to put people in right-fit positions so that they can maximize their potential and live more fulfilling lives. We designed an interactive and innovative website, mobile app and career coaching services to help drive results for our clients and small and large in many industries.
One co-founder has 6+ years of experience in the Human Resource field and is at present a Human Resource Manager overseeing more than 35 employees. The other co-found has 10+ years of experience in Customer Service and is certified in resume writing and interviewing skills.
They have long been passionate about helping people find jobs that make their lives better. Blucruit was started with this in mind–to help professionals find legitimate, career-oriented jobs and to help them find these jobs in a safe, easy, and efficient way!
Is CareerClub an employment agency or recruitment service?
No, Blucruit is not like an employment agency, staffing service, temp firm, or headhunter. We do not place people into positions, nor do we manage the payment process between an employer and the employees or freelancers who they might hire through our site.
Blucruit is a job service that curates professional and legitimate international remote job opportunities and puts them into one easy place for you to find them (and also allows pre-screened, approved employers to find candidates who fit their hiring needs and then reach out to them directly).
Account
Can I hide my resume, so that my current employer can’t find it?
Your privacy is very important to us. Once you create and complete a resume profile, your resume will be uploaded to our database. Only the employers whose jobs you’ve applied for can see your resume.
You have control over the privacy and information shared to CareerClub employers and have the option to keep your information from being seen by anyone but specific employers you outreach to and want to connect with.
Do I have to pay to see the full job listing?
While CareerClub offers a variety of paid job-related services, to access the full job listings on our database, you simply have to complete your sign up to become a member. In addition to being able to instantly view and apply to numerous jobs, becoming a member is totally free.
I didn’t update my profile before submitting an application. Can I change it now?
We always encourage job seekers to keep their profiles updated with new skills and experience. You can’t edit an application after it’s already been submitted. But you might be able to reach out to employer with your updated resume.
If you were sent to the employer’s website to apply, you might be able to log into their system to make the changes. Your best bet is to check their website first before you try to contact them directly.
You can always contact the employer on your own, explain your situation and provide your updated information.
I am requesting a password reset and not receiving it. What’s going on?
If you submit a password reset from the system and you do not receive it, please check your spam/junk folder in your email. Unfortunately, some email providers will block or file those notices automatically. Also, we have had issues with Comcast blocking password requests, so if you are using a Comcast email address, please contact Client Services and we can manually update your password for you.
Why do I have to go to the employer’s website to finish applying for a job?
Some of the employers who advertise jobs on our site require job seekers to apply on their company website. When you click Apply Now on CareerClub, you may be sent to another site to finish the application process.
Can I pay for your services with a credit card?
Yes, we do accept prepaid Visa, MasterCard, or American Express cards.
Can I pay for your service with PayPal?
Yes, you are able to purchase a service on our site via PayPal.
Are there any other ways I can purchase your services?
Yes, we also bank deposits to our First Citizens Bank Account
Can I apply for a job through Career Club if I don’t have an email address?
You need an email address to use Career Club, but the good news is that it’s free, quick and easy to get your own email address. Gmail and Yahoo both allow you to create free email accounts. Just be sure to pick an email name that’s in good taste and professional—employers may not call you if your email is [email protected]
How can I delete my account?
Are you sure you want to delete your account? We can’t reactivate it once deleted. You must have an account to apply to jobs on CareerClub. If you’ve already found a job, we recommend you keep your profile active in case a great opportunity comes along.
If your profile is outdated, just sign in and click My Account > My Profile > Delete
Once you select delete, you will be required to enter your current password to confirm the deletion of your account.
If you want to stop receiving emails from us, click unsubscribe at the bottom of the email you received. You can still keep your CareerClub account, without the alerts. Log in to your account and select Notification Settings from the menu.
Jobs
Are all the jobs on CareerClub located in Trinidad & Tobago?
Yes, all of the jobs on CareerClub are located in Trinidad & Tobago.
Can you search for jobs on each island?
Yes, we cater for each both Trinidad and Tobago individually. Simply select the preferred location of your choice.
How do I apply for a jobs on CareerClub?
First, you need to be a member of CareerClub to see employers, view full job details, or apply for any job. Each employer decides how it wants you to apply for jobs through CareerClub. Employers can set up the job post to allow you to apply through CareerClub, or require you to apply directly from the careers page on their websites.
Some companies may request that you e-mail your resume and cover letter instead of applying through CareerClub or their own system.
Are the jobs on CareerClub legitimate?
Yes! Our amazing job research team hand-screens every single job and company added to our site, so you will only find jobs and companies that are legitimate, professional, and offer at least one type of flexibility.
We do not post positions that we find questionable or anything from companies that do not meet our strict criteria for legitimacy. Our purpose is to help job seekers find legitimate jobs and to make the job search experience a better, safer, and faster one. We do the hard work of researching every single position, so that our subscribers can apply without fear of scams, identity theft, fraud, or other issues.
Are jobs removed from the Career Club database when they are filled?
We hand-clean our database regularly to keep our listings as current and accurate as possible. We remove filled positions on a daily basis. In the unfortunate case that you ever come across a listing that has a broken link or is closed, please send us an email and we will research the listing and respond to let you know if the job is expired or if the website was just experiencing issues.
Why isn’t salary listed on a job posting?
Unfortunately, nowadays it is increasingly rare to have employers include salary/pay rate information upfront in job postings. And since it is entirely up to each individual employer to decide if it is going to include that information in a job posting, you will only be able to see what employers want to share. It is typical for employers to discuss salary and pay scale during or after the first round of interviews.

Will I need to download any software to use CareerClub?
No, CareerClub does not require any software, other than an Internet browser, to be purchased or downloaded onto your computer to use our service
If I contact CareerClub, can I get help finding positions that match my background
While we don’t provide individual or tailored job searching services, CareerClubs Client Services team is happy to help you use CareerClub to its fullest. If you’re sure you’re using CareerClub correctly and you’re just not finding the jobs you want, you can report a bug or request a new feature to enhance our job searching and matching service by going to our contact page and entering your request in the provided contact form.
You can also request one of our Resume Writing or Career Coaching services to help you maximize your chances of finding jobs that are just right for you.
Does CareerClub guarantee that I get hired?
CareerClub does not guarantee job placement. While we do the research on all the jobs we publish, the hiring process is all handled by the employer directly. However, CareerClub does ensure that you’ll find only hand-screened, professional job leads with no ads, scams, or other junk on our site.
What if my question isn’t answered here?

How do I keep my account protected?
Your information is safe on the CareerClub website. Here are some things you can do on your end to make sure your CareerClub account is secure:
- Change your password every few months.
- Don’t use the same password for all of your accounts.
- Select strong, complex passwords that can’t be easily guessed.
- Never give your password to others.
- Make sure your email accounts are secure.
- Sign out of your account after you’ve used a public or shared computer.
- Manage your account information and privacy settings.
- Be wary of suspicious links, even if they come from someone you know.
Report any inappropriate content or safety concerns you see so we can be as vigilant as possible
Does Career Club offer career counselling or resume help?
Yes, in addition to lots of articles on these topics, Career Club offers professional career coaching and resume writing services.
Mobile App
Where can I download the app?
Currently, our app is only available for Android users. CareerClub members can download and install the app and sign in with their existing CareerClub username and email address for a seamless experience between the website and the mobile app. Now you can look for jobs on the go!
When will you have an app on the Apple Store?
We’ve got big plans and a goal to begin working on an Apple app later this year.
How do I reset my password in the CareerClub app?
On the login screen, simply tap “Forgot Password?” and enter the email address you used to set up your CareerClub account. We will send you an email with instructions.
How do I search and filter jobs in the CareerClub app?
To search for jobs in the CareerClub app, tap on the search box. Type in a job title or keyword to see your results. You can continue to refine the results by using the filters on the top of the screen to narrow results to meet your specific criteria. To view more details about a job, tap on the individual job.
Can I save jobs in the CareerClub app?
Tap the bookmark icon to the right of the job title to save it. To view saved jobs, click on your profile and the select “saved jobs”, where you will see all of your saved jobs.
Where can I view jobs that I’ve applied for in the app?
To access the complete list of jobs you have applied for, simply select your profile icon and then select “my applied”. Here you will see a list of all the jobs that you have applied for.
Do you have any general mobile app troubleshooting tips?
We’re sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with the app. Here are some tips and tricks we recommend you try:
- Make sure that both your mobile device and the CareerClub app are up to date.
- Close the app completely and launch it again.
- Completely log out and then log back into the CareerClub app.
- Delete/uninstall and reinstall the CareerClub app.
