We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Midwest Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel sales, specifically in flat roll and carbon products.

Founded in 1947, Kenwal Steel operates world-class steel service centers and is recognized as a Top 20 steel service and distribution company. We provide a large variety of different grades and types of flat rolled steel products to customers in the automotive and manufacturing industries. With locations in Dearborn, Michigan, Burns Harbor, Indiana and Lebanon, Tennessee, we operate a network of seven steel slitting lines and a high-volume pickling line with in-line tension leveling. Our teams are committed to delivering the highest quality rolled steel and ensuring the highest level of service.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote traveling sales rep role. An outside sales rep will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships within their defined territory.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the Midwest Region
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Provide exceptional customer service and support
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in steel
Strong knowledge of flat roll and carbon products
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel within the Midwest Region
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
