Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Global Information Systems Project Manager.

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager will be the execution and delivery of enterprise company initiatives within cost and schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. The individual will lead complex projects of cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones.

This role is not location specific, and can be supported virtually, but requires up to 50% domestic travel.

Candidates MUST HAVE SAP/ERP project implementation experience or a proven track record of leading large cross-functional projects.

Specific duties will include:

Manage all phases of small to large program efforts and project execution utilizing SAP Activate project methodology.
Build, maintain, and execution of project schedule for Project Discovery, Prep, Explore, Realize, and Deploy deliverables throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Responsible for adhering to required project documentation, managing project costs and resources, continuous risk management, and driving the team to achieving milestones.
Manage a program team of highly skilled geographically dispersed analysts to ensure overall technical quality and performance of solutions meets the business requirements and objectives.
Coordinate with leadership, homeroom managers, and sectors to identify, plan, implement, and sustain ERP solutions in meeting program strategic and tactical objectives.
Communicate and prepare regular status of key deliverables to leadership and customers. Build executive level briefings and regularly present to senior leadership in program reviews.
Work closely with 1ERP Service Line leaders to manage and coordinate program activity including schedule and resource support.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 14 years related experience
Experience in planning, organizing, and executing large/small scale cross team projects
Experience building effective relationships and understanding the needs of stakeholders
Ability to facilitate meetings and lead discussions across functions and organizations
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines
Ability to influence and drive results without direct authority of personnel
Ability to formulate, communicate, and execute project plans and initiatives
Proven experience with constant communication in a quickly changing environment
Working knowledge of MS Office
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications – candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

SAP project implementation experience – specifically with SAP Activate and/or ASAP implementation
Proven track record with leading large SAP implementations
High level of understanding in ERP functions and interdependencies of modules
Advanced knowledge of ERP SAP modules and capabilities
Experience with SAP PEO shop floor solution
Salary Range: $155,400 – $233,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
